Graduated as Agricultural Engineer from the Catholic University of the Dry Tropic (UCATSE), Estelí, Nicaragua (2009); Master of Science in Strategies for Regional Agricultural Development from the Colegio de Postgraduados, campus Puebla, México (2015) and currently a PhD student in Sciences in Conservation and Use of Natural Resources at the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Regional Integral Development of the National Polytechnic Institute (CIIDIR IPN), Oaxaca, Mexico. He conducts research on the “use of biodigesters for the treatment and use of waste from the mezcal industry.” He has installed and advised on tubular polyethylene and concrete biodigesters in Nicaragua and Mexico. He is the founder of ARQUEA, an initiative to manufacture and commercialize PVC geomembrane biodigesters in Mexico.
