Luis Cepero Casas


Graduated in Physics at the “Universidad de La Habana”, Master in Business Administration (2010). Assistant Researcher, Assistant Professor and Head of the Bioenergy and Residuals Laboratory of the Experimental Station of Pastures and Forages Indio Hatuey, attached to the University of Matanzas, Ministry of Higher Education, Cuba. His scientific activity is linked to renewable energy sources for rural areas (biogas, gasification and biodiesel). He participates in several international projects financed by: Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development, OIKOS-Portugal, GEF, UNDP and EU. Member of the National Board of the Movement of Biogas Users and Coordinator of this organization in the province of Matanzas. He advises Cuban companies on the use of renewable energy sources from biomass and provides training on the design, assembly and start-up of small, medium and large biodigesters.
